The AcrySof® ReSTOR® lens is a breakthrough intraocular lens (IOL) that corrects near, distant and intermediate vision. This lens is used to replace the cloudy lens during the cataract removal procedure. The AcrySof® ReSTOR® lens is a multifocal IOL. Traditional IOLs are monofocal. As the name implies, monofocal lenses can only give you clear distance vision, which means reading glasses are still needed.
